About the book

Is this the 2.0 Edition?
Yes — the fully updated edition with expanded sections and redrawn illustrations throughout.

I'm a brand new grad. Is this too advanced?
No. It assumes you know nursing fundamentals and nothing about critical care equipment. That's the whole point.

Is it a CCRN prep book?
Not directly. It teaches the equipment, lines, drips and concepts you use every shift. Many nurses use it as groundwork before CCRN prep, but it isn't a question bank.

Can I bring it to work?
Yes. The spiral binding lies flat on a counter and it's sized to fit a work bag or locker.

Does it replace my hospital's protocols?
No. It's an educational reference. Always follow your facility's policies, your unit's standards and your provider's orders.
